We loved the cabin nestled between the trees with loads of privacy and a beautiful pine tree in front! It had all the amenities that we needed to spend quality family time away together.

We could hear the N2 traffic at times, but it didn't deter from our relaxation. The knives were not sharp enough to cut raw vegetables/fruit

Is a wonderful farm with chalets with a distance between them. That gives you privacy and a sense of being in the nature. The main bar and restaurant are nice and well served with a great outside open area to relax. Also have an excellent playground for the kids. There are farm and wild antelopes free in the area. Quietness and clean. And close to the elephant park. It was a great stay.

We appreciate the extravagant ornamentation of the shop as and the restaurant as part of the shabby brand, but found the extreme ornamentation, rugs, decor and feathered scatter pillows in the little house really a bit much. With all the interior clutter it was hard to even move inside. Would be great with white linen and NO DECOR. But the staff are great especially Mario!

The view and the nature

The hosts were nice and accommodating. The farm is beautiful, and it is great to be surrounded by nature. It is very peaceful and quiet. The farm is located close to Plettenberg bay and it is easy to get there quite quickly. There are security gates on the farm and the chalets are equipped with safety gates and an alarm system, so we felt very safe as well.

We had to cut our trip short because we would not be able to reach our One-Bedroom Chalet in rainy conditions with a regular car. The advertisement should definitely recommend the use of off-road vehicles or at least add information regarding the rough roads. The chalet is very small, with limited kitchen, bathroom and general living space. Although there is outdoor furniture, there is no couch or chairs (or space) to sit inside. The stovetop is situated beneath the stairs and thus not very easy to use. The stairs leading up to the bedroom is very steep and difficult to use, especially at night. We did not even try to get our luggage up there... Our chalet had no wifi and no cellphone reception at all.
