Hotel O Longhorn Boise City OK

The owner is doing a great job of renovating and upgrading an older building (obviously an old-fashioned, small roadside motel). My room was very clean, and the bathroom was a nice surprise with an upgraded shower and great water pressure. The motel is very quiet, with not much traffic on the road and plenty of distance from the train tracks. (I could hear a few trains, but the sound was muted and not bothersome.)

The bed linens and pillows were nice, but the mattress was old and in need of replacement. The only coffee available was in the office, and it was tepid and watery.

Built in 1945, owner bought it in 2007 wnd has been renovating it a little at a time. Rooms are very large and impeccably clean.

Heat/ac pump was very noisy but new. Nothing needs to be done to fix this. Bed was harder than we like.

The location was good for our trip It was clean The gas station/convenience store is right next to it and the only place we saw for food.

It’s an old property and remote. The shower had very little water. I had to stand on a chair to reach the heat adjustments.

Easy access from hwy 287 yet very quiet location. The room was very clean, there was plenty of hot water and the man at the desk was very friendly. Great place to overnight on a trip from Texas to Colorado.

The heating unit was loud.

Staff was friendly and helpful

The bed was terrible. I got the worst nights sleep I have had in a long time.
