Shanalulu Sands - full inverter

Location. Good linen and pillows. TV facilities. The kitchen was suitably equipped in terms of cutlery, crockery, however there was no sharp cutting or chopping knife and no braai tongs.

Main bed shower extract fan was not working. Shower floors were slippery. Kitchen sink did not have hot water for washing dishes. Basic Floor rugs would help in winter, both in lounge and bedroom. The fan heater was not working but staff responded quickly. An AC for heating and cooling would not go unnoticed.The lack of extraction of moist air is causing mold in the BICs.

Our stay at Shanalulu will not be forgotten for a long time to come. The location is perfect a few steps from the beach. My husband fished morning and late afternoon, we explored Wilderness and had the most amazing evening braai's. The sound of the waves was so relaxing. The accommodation was just right for 3 of us. The kitchen was equipped for light meals. This was fine for us as we do not want to cook on holiday. Maybe one or two extra serving dishes as we had to rotate the dinner plates to assist when cooking our meat. The beds were so comfortable we struggled to get up in the morning, you could just fold into the luxury and continue to listen to the waves. We would love to return for another visit. Thanks to Martin who is a ray of sunshine and always happy to assist even with the smallest things.

The location of the property is excellent and the views of the ocean breathtaking! We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return when next in Wilderness.

Martin was amazing and supported us with everything - he even brought us BBQ equipment. View is great. We loved it.

Nothing not to like about it

Stunning views in a tranquil location.

Attention needed on amenities. Coffee and Tea to be available and restocked after departure. Leftover open dry goods from previous guests to be removed.

We had a fantastic few days here. Right on the beach - exceptional location. Martin is an absolute delight and the whole team made our stay unforgettable. Great also for families with small kids. Hopefully we can come back one day :)

The bedrooms and place is very modern and right on the beach

There was no contact before we arrived. The time we stayed there, it was freezing, and it would have been nice if there was a carpet next to the beds and in the bathrooms. There was a leak from the ceiling onto the couch. The kitchen was very tiny and ill-equipped for the preparation of meal /salads for a braai. If you are only planning to eat out, then it will suffice. There was no coffee maker as promised by the website.

The Location and the View was absolutely stunning. Would love to stay there during the summer season.

Would actually prefer if the windows in the bedrooms had curtains and not just the blinds. Electric Blankets for the winter season would add to the comfort.

The location is absolutely awesome! The apartment is spacious enough for a family of 4. Martin who looks after the property is Real Gem.

Could do with a stove and a few more plates,bowels and general kitchen wear.
