Abbiamo soggiornato in questo appartamento nel cuore di Lucca e non possiamo che dargli un 10/10. È un bilocale molto ampio, ristrutturato con gusto, moderno e dotato di tutti i comfort: aria condizionata, Wi-Fi, lavatrice e un bellissimo terrazzino dove rilassarsi dopo una giornata in città. La posizione è ideale per visitare Lucca a piedi, e volendo si possono anche noleggiare le biciclette per girare comodamente il centro. L’appartamento è fornito di tutto il necessario e ci siamo sentiti subito a casa. Inoltre, i cagnolini sono i benvenuti: i nostri sono stati benissimo! Un grande valore aggiunto è sicuramente la disponibilità del proprietario: ci ha accolto con gentilezza, spiegandoci nei dettagli tutto quello che poteva servirci, dal parcheggio alla gestione dei rifiuti. Inoltre, ci ha lasciato una lista utilissima con supermercati, ristoranti e persino le spiagge più vicine. Sempre reperibile su WhatsApp, pronto a rispondere a ogni esigenza. Un soggiorno perfetto: consigliatissimo a chiunque voglia vivere Lucca in totale comodità e serenità.

Jan was an absolute gent and met us at the train and brought us to the apartment as he was in Lucca already! The apartment is super central and so easy to navigate Lucca . The terrace was a treasure in the summer heat and the aircon was super helpful (although we rarely used it) This is a super super place and I will 100% be back to stay

Nothing! Even the stairs I got used to - but I knew there were stairs when I booked, so not a surprise. I found myself going out to the shop as an excuse to get the steps in :-)

Das Apartment hat eine super Lage innerhalb der Stadtmauer. Zum Be- und Entladen ist direkt ein Parkplatz vor der Tür. Parken kann man außerhalb der Stadtmauer kostenlos. Unser Vermieter ist sehr sympathisch und die Schlüsselübergabe reibungslos. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, besitzt eine Klimaanlage und ist der perfekte Startpunkt für einen Städtetrip.

Der Besitzer Jan war sehr freundlich und entgegen kommend. Man kann direkt vor dem Haus mit dem Auto die Koffer ausladen. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut eingerichtet. Es hat einen separaten begehbaren Schrank mit Waschmaschine! PS: Die von anderen negativ erwähnten ungleichmässigen Treppen im Haus und Stufen in der Wohnung rühren vom Alter der Liegenschaft. Mit einem Nachtlicht stürzt man auch nicht...

We loved our stay in Lucca! The apartment was very spacious, clean and comfortable and in a good location. Everything was within walking distance to get to such as the city wall, (I ran around it every morning!) landmarks, bars and restaurants, shops and a big supermarket. Our favourite spot was the beautiful terrace to relax on especially in the late afternoon in the sunshine, after a busy day exploring. Jan was a very helpful, welcoming and friendly host with good communication. Highly recommend staying here as it’s near to the city but in a quieter location with good amenities close by. There’s a well stocked supermarket with helpful assistants on the same street as well as a coffee shop and bakery (which had vegan croissants for me!) and a lovely ice cream bar. Wish we were back in Lucca!

Good location, cosy flat in a historical building. The host, Jan is very nice and always ready to help. The terrace is the heart of the flat even in wintertime!

Terrific apartment, and a very helpful host. Easy communication with Jan, and very smooth delivery of keys. The apartment had a nice terrace, comfortable beds and the AC was silent. It was located in a quiet neighborhood, but at the same time close to the center of Lucca.

Wonderful position within the city walls to explore all of Lucca. A beautiful apartment with a balcony! Incredibly well equiped even though I ate out most of the time! A bonus to have a supermarket a couple of hundred yards from apartment and in the same road! Definitely appreciated the aircon in the intense August heat. Great to be able to retreat there in the afternoons! Good wifi. Excellent communicatioin with Jan, the owner. Really appreciated being able to drop off my suitcase early before check in. Indeed Jan met me and carried my suitcase up the 3 flights of stairs! An excellent choice as a base for my Lucca visit. I felt as though I was staying in someone's home rather than rented accomodation.

I was aware of the 3 flights of steps. But found it harder than anticipated in the intense August heat. I feel the description details should make people aware of the number of internal steps (not stairs ) e.g. x2 down from bedroom to hallway deep/steep,,,,x2 in bathroom and needed to be very careful not to slip after a shower!

Perfect location, friendly and helpful host and the apartment has everything you need on holiday. Would go again.

The apartment is on the third floor without a lift.
