The kitchen had absolutely no foods. Not even coffee pods for the coffee maker. only salt and pepper . No dish washer and no dish cloths or towels so we were unable to wash and dry any plates etc Our room was at the back overlooking a sports field so that was disappointing

The Elena is a beautifully appointed apartment with more than enough storage. Extremely comfortable bed along with two pillows each. The good sized bathroom provided shower gel, conditioner and four towels. The apartment is set within a complex providing lift access to all floors, there is a good size communal swimming pool with sun loungers and umbrellas. The apartment is in a fantastic location within the fabulous Porto Montenegro yachting complex and easily walkable to restaurants and a brand new supermarket

The crockery and cutlery is Villeroy & Boch, however only two large plates provided plus two smaller plates and no bowls, only two large mugs but plenty of wine glasses! We had therefore had no bowls to eat our breakfast cereal! Lack of a lounge/sitting area meant the only place to sit was on the bed (it was not mentioned on the listing that there was no lounge!) Kitchen had a breakfast bar and two stools but not suitable for a relaxing sit down in the evenings There is 24 hour reception and we were shown to our apartment by a very helpful lady. She helped out again the next day by ringing one of the other hotels for us to use their beach club, however she brought the conversation to an abrupt end by dismissing us by saying "you may leave now" whilst we were trying to tell her that the air conditioning was not working, which we thought was very rude - from that point onwards she was not at all friendly to us. It was not a language issue as she spoke very good English. By contrast the lady on reception who we dealt with on our last day (18th Sept) was at all times very helpful, friendly and polite The lady who we dealt with at "check in" told me that she would not take payment for the Euro 200 deposit (that was never mentioned when I booked the property) but that this would be held in the background. Yet at the "check out the other lady told us it could take up to 30 days for me to get the Euro 200 deposit paid back! They did take the money from me at the check in after all ! This 20 day delay is not acceptable and I will be writing direct to the property to make a formal complaint. Overall, disappointed with our stay and do not feel that it was good value for money and now I have to wait 20 days to get the deposit back !!
