We booked 12 days at Milele Beach Resort and honestly, we couldn’t fault a thing. This family-run retreat is a masterclass in hospitality—warm, welcoming, and effortlessly elegant. Every moment felt personal, every detail thoughtfully considered. From the stunning beachfront to the delicious home-style meals and the genuine care from the team, Milele is more than a resort—it’s a heartfelt experience. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already planning our return.

Het personeel is zo vriendelijk! Meerdere malen kwamen ze even een praatje maken en vragen of alles naar wens was. Het eten was echt voortreffelijk! De kamers werden meerder malen per dag schoon gemaakt waardoor het er altijd schoon en netjes was. Het verblijf staat op het strand waardoor je snachts heerlijk kunt genieten van het geluid van de zee. Kortom was het echt een geweldige ervaring!

Het enige wat ik jammer vond is dat na 18.00 uur de zon achter het hotel weg is. Het is dan nogsteeds lekker warm en je kan dan gezellig een drankje drinken op het terras.

לא ברור למה אנשים נמנעים מהאזור הזה בזנזיבר, יש לו את היתרונות שלו. אכן קצת פחות הומה אדם ולכל מלון יש את האזור שלו, אבל התמורה לכסף, וואו! במחיר של המלון בנונגווי קיבלנו פה הכול, ארוחת בוקר מעולה ומגוונת, חדר מושלם עם נוף לים, מרחב מרכזי של המלון עם בריכה מושלמת ובעלים מקסים שהרשה לנו בשמחה להישאר עד מאוחר בגלל טיסה שהייתה לנו בערב. בשעות הבוקר המאוחר מתחיל שפל רציני ואז אפשר לצאת לחקור את הבריכות הקטנות שנוצרות בים, זה מהמם, ראינו נחשי ים, כוכבי ים, צדפים מהממים, דגים מיוחדים ועוד. חשוב ללכת עם נעלי מים כדי לא לדרוך על אלפי קיפודי הים במקום. המלון השכן מלון הזה עולה פי 3 והתמורה לא כזו שונה. אם אחזור לזנזיבר, בהחלט אחזור למלון הזה, הייתה לנו פה חוויה מושלמת.

הייתי אומרת שהדלתות של החדרים והנעילה שלהן לא כל כך נוחות, ואולי כביש הגישה למלונות שהוא לא סלול ומלא בבורות, אבל זה מאוד מאוד זניח ולא השפיע על החוויה.

Lovely welcome and the team are really nice. The food here is fantastic and you can definitely tell it is Italian owned, wow the pizza and pasta are yum! Really good if you want a base for your trip, but not exactly for chilling and relaxing The bedrooms in the bungalows are absolutely gorgeous, bed is really comfy and a very cute boho vibe

Even though the room was lovely there were a few things that definitely need to be updated… the shower for one didn’t fresh and the water was definitely salt water so you didn’t feel ‘clean’ afterwards, sunbeds are heavy and uncomfy - not the worst by a long shot but if you want a day to lounge around it would be good for an update there. Probably something that can’t be helped (but needs to be) there is some kind of insect or beetle that knaws away at the inside of the wooden beams ALL night. Not relaxing and really messed with my sleep on the last few days!

Nuestra estancia ha sido realmente increíble. Desde el primer momento nos hemos sentido como en casa. El trato del personal y de los dueños ha sido excepcional — siempre atentos, amables y con una sonrisa. Se nota que ponen el corazón en todo lo que hacen. Las instalaciones son preciosas, el ambiente tranquilo y acogedor, y todo está cuidado al detalle.

La única pequeña pega, por decir algo, es que la cantidad de comida podría ser un poquito más abundante… aunque la calidad y el sabor son excelentes.
