Milele Beach Resort

Smaller, more intimate resort. We stayed at one of two bungalows and most of the time it felt like we had our own private pool and lounge area! Very safe and quiet. For dinner, the restaurant on location had good options (wood oven pizza was excellent !) and you can walk over to neighboring resorts for dinner as well. When the tide is low, you can just walk on the beach to other places. We had a full moon for both the nights we were there and walking on the beach was simply magical!! Service is good and responsive. Had a massage on site and it was also a wonderful experience!

There are no phones in the rooms which made calling for service in the middle of the night difficult. We were told you can simply wave down the security guard or walk over next door to the owner’s house if you needed something. The shower is actually not a shower but a water hose so it felt like I was standing under a waterfall. Interesting experience. It’s about 1 hr and 20 minutes from Stone Town but that’s also a good thing since it’s a place where you can really relax and unplug.

I prefer the more open back area at Matemwe for holidays.

Ruhige Lage direkt am Meer. Sehr schönes Zimmer mit Meerblick und 2mal täglich roomservice. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal.

Wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr willkommen und wohl gefühlt. Die Freundlichkeit aller, die tolle Lage, leckeres Essen - rundum gelungen. Danke für den tollen Aufenthalt!

Dirigeants italiens et personnels aux petits soins et agréables. On a été trés bien accueilli. Chambre calme et grandiose avec une vue face à la mer. Petite piscine mais suffisante. Hôtel calme, on se sent hors du temps et choyé. Trés bon restaurant et petit déjeuner.

De lokatie , personeel waren zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam . Onze familie suite had een balkon met uitzicht op zwembad en strand. Was een restaurant aanwezig met prachtig uitzicht op de oceaan . Eten was voortreffelijk! Je waant je echt op een bounty eiland 🏝️

Handdoeken/badjassen waren aan vernieuwing toe

Les hôtes sont très accueillants et avec un sens du service de qualité. L'ambiance est très bonne, festive tout en étant reposante. Les chambres sont magnifiques avec une vue imprenable sur le lagon. Le restaurant est de très bonne qualité, les cocktails sont réussis et les menus diversifiés, incluant même le sans gluten. L'hôtel directement sur la plage est le point de départ de longues promenades comme de snorkeling. The hosts are very welcoming and provide excellent service. The atmosphere is very good, festive yet relaxing. The rooms are beautiful with stunning views of the lagoon. The restaurant is very good, the cocktails are delicious, and the menus are varied, even including gluten-free options. The hotel is right on the beach and is the starting point for long walks and snorkeling.

Les gérants de l’hôtel et du restaurant sont au petit soin, toujours agréables, à l’écoute et conviviaux. Emplacements incroyables. Chambre charmante. Peu de monde.
