beautiful beach, upgraded on ariival to a beach front bungalow. Very clean. Staff very helpful and kind.

There are a lot of people on the beach trying to sell trips etc. We avoided them mostly but was irritating

Perfect location during low tide we enjoyed a long walk on a white sand beach at high tide the ocean is at your feet! Great meals especially the croissant in the morning and the fresh fruits! Amazing staffs and extremely clean and comfortable room !

It was small only 12 units and all were virtually on the beach. It was very personal and the staff were so attentive and NOTHING was too much to ask. The air con was perfect and the fan was sufficient most of the time. The rooms were able to be closed so even when the power went off (not the resorts fault) the rooms were kept very cool. The food especially the pizzas was excellent and the Italian flavour was great. They also organised tours for us which was great as it took hassle out of it. Also transport to and from airport so we were spoilt

The Milele Beach Resort is a small hotel right on the Indian Ocean. At the time when we were there, there were hardly any other guests so it was very quite. For us the highlight was the restaurant with the very good chef as well as the very friendly waiters and waitresses. The bungalows had a good size with a bit of a special bathroom interior.

During the two first nights the AirCon did not work in our bungalow. After the first night with limited sleep we thought that the repairwork was successful, but that was not the case. After a second hot night we got another bungalow assigned to us where the AC worked. During our stay the AC in the first bungalow was then replaced. As the AC apparently had not been working reliably previous to our stay I would have expected us getting a different room or at least been warned about the issues.

Wonderful hotel right on the beach front. We were lucky to get room 7 which in my opinion has the best view (though very similar for all rooms). The beach is literally right there for us to jump in anytime! Just stunning how beautiful and close to nature it is. We stayed two nights and never got out of the “compound “ even though it’s small, because we spent quite some time at the beach or pool, and one late morning spent 3 hours walking over a kilometer out at low tide to see all the wonderful sea creatures. I like how the hotel fenced off the swimming pool and sunbed areas and it is slightly elevated so you don’t get disturbed by the beach boys as much as if you stay in some other beaches / hotels that are more exposed or more public. The hotel food was slightly on the smaller portion side but enough for us and is high quality. It is mostly Italian food but we went to the hotel next door one time for something slightly different. A small precaution for people is don’t swim at low tide! We learned the hard way and my husband hurt himself being scratched by the coral reef. But the staff (and the restaurant chef I think?) were super helpful and got us disinfectant and bandage and stuff to fix it (he was bleeding and it did look worrisome)

Really nothing!! One thing I suggest the hotel to look into is the termites in the room. There’s most certainly a lot of termites in the wooden beam in the room and we can even hear the biting symphony at night, and had to put on white noise to fall asleep. It wasn’t a huge problem since I know termites don’t harm people, but for those sensitive to sound it would be best to have this problem fixed.

I usually dont write long reviews but this time I have to. Milele Beach Resort is the place where you really enjoy your holiday, where you can rest, chill and feel relaxed. The place is beautiful, designed with style and passion. It's placed on an amazing beach. Lisa the owner is very friendly and open person, thinking about everything. She took us by her jeep to the village for shopping. Her son Niccolo is a manager with big heart, he is very friendly and professional, always trying to help you. Valeria and Bruno the restaurant managers are great and so kind treating you as a friend. The whole staff are very professional, smiled and you feel that they care about you. Especially Theresa and Omar were amazing. Our room was cleaned every day, fresh towels, bottles of water, tea&coffee. They really care about their guests. The place is literally on the beach so it's a really high score for Milele that even on very tough nature conditions they make it happen 10/10. Respect. The restaurant is great, dishes are delicious and fresh, same as the breakfast. Homemade jam, fresh juices, chef prepares omelette etc. Everyone will find something for themselves. Me and my Wife spent 10 days here and we highly recommend this place, we are lucky we chose Milele Beach Resort. If you plan to visit Zanzibar this is the place.

We had a great time at the Milele. The hotel itself was really comfortable and peaceful, opening straight onto the beach. The hotel staff went the extra mile to really make our stay special (it was our honeymoon), upgrading our room and giving us other pleasant surprises. The food was very nice and the staff extremely welcoming. All in all a great visit, thanks again!
