Yurtshire Eavestone Lake - Birch Yurt

We enjoyed two nights in Birch . The yurt itself was clean along with the bathroom facilities too making our stay comfortable and relaxing.

Some critique: For the amount of money you pay for one night I do feel as the majority of the facilities are powered by log wood this should be provided free of charge for the duration of your stay; We were offered clean towels only on the first night. We know it's not a hotel, but for the amount paid, we expected to receive fresh towels the next day as well. There is no mat in the bathroom, the floor is not the cleanest considering that you enter with shoes on and a mat is essential or at least disposable slippers. Unfortunately, we couldn’t use the hot tub because the smell of the water was absolutely unbearable.

Could have done with knowing where the fairy lights switches were for inside and out but we found them in the end but communication on it would have been good.

Location was lovely and quiet

Cleanliness it was so dirty the bed and pillows, stained and dirty. Not enough cutlery no cooking utensils.
