King Size Bed, Private Parking, Centrally Located

Spotless bedroom & bathroom! Hosts were really helpful and friendly. Plenty of parking and the dogs are super friendly also!

Cathy was very accommodating and the hospitality we received from her and the dogs was nothing short of pleasant. It was a quiet place, we had good rest and good conversation with everyone in the house, and the place was convenient for walks to the city centre and to other attractions.

The fact that we did not know that the owner collected and looked after stray dogs (9 of them at the time we were meant to stay). We were advised to lock the door to our room as the dogs could push the door in the morning. This is a very basic property. The owner knew we were coming but hadn't put the heating on prior to us arriving, this didn't add to the appeal when we arrived. There are no tea or coffee facilities although the owner did say we could just ask and she would make us a coffee or tea.

it was a relaxing stay in a perfect location- easy access to the bus and easy walking to the town centre. We enjoyed sitting outside on the swing in rhe late afternoon, with the dogs providing good company and entertainment. The grounds provided a beautiful, private setting with Cathy being within easy reach if we needed her.

There was nothing that we didn't like.

Incredibly kind, warm & thoughtful. I was exhausted on arrival, had caught a cold & they went above & beyond to make sure I was comfortable. Lovely people, adorable dogs & a beautiful home in a great location, easy walk to everything in Kilkenny. Simply lovely.

I loved the design of the room, its very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The house is in a peaceful location. The hosts were very kind and welcoming and helpful and friendly. I was visiting from abroad and it was so nice to recieve the famous "irish welcome".
