Galle Side HomeStay

The location is quite close from Galle Fort (tuktukable distance) and from the beaches on the south of Galle. At that price, it was difficult to find better. The place is also located in a small street very calm. The staff is always available to provide guidance and advice to visit the area.

AC was not working very properly but with the fan it was manageable.

Friendly family and very comfy room

There is a temple next door and it plays very loud music at about 5am everyday for quite a long time. Very difficult to sleep through

Super friendly hosts and receptionist. The host gave helpful information. Amazing room very well equipped. Would book it again!

- the owners of the homestay were nice people - the food that the landlady cooks was always very good and delicious - the location was 2km away from Dutch Fort so that I could discover an other nice district of Galle - my room was big and nice, the bed was very comfortable and I had also a mosquito net.

- not that great breakfast - no internet connection - the broken sink in the bathroom

Super friendly hosts the wife’s laugh is contagious! Delicious fruits for breakfast.

The mattress sheet didn’t quite fit so ended up sleeping on hard mattress quite a bit.

I would just tell the future guests that the apartment is near to the temple. So in the morning (5-6 am) they pray and it's quite loud, so take earplugs :)

Exceptionally clean, lovely owners, great location.
