Felt just like home. Thanks to uncle and aunty. I loved every second of my stay here.

Everything was very clean. The couple who runs this place are very sweet. Aunty cooked delicious foods for me. Uncle is a very generous person. He even dropped me off at the bus stop 5.30 in the morning. I really loved staying here. Thank you so much aunty and uncle.

Hands down my favourite place I’ve ever stayed ANYWHERE in the world EVER. From the moment I arrived to the moment when I left, I’ve never felt more looked after. You can FEEL like warmth from these people as soon as you arrive. The breakfast (included in the price) was incredible — a colourful banquet of local and native fruits and dishes. Whenever I expressed curiosity in a certain native food or fruit, it was on the plate the very next day. My room was cleaned daily. They brought tea up to the room when I was working (no extra cost). The dog was super cute and friendly (massive green flag if you ask me!). They literally handled everything. Washing, breakfast, lunch, phone top ups — everything! One day I had a problem with my phone and Jawa (Dad I call him) took me down on his bike and spent 3 hours helping me deal with the Sri Lankan company to make sure it all got sorted! The icing on the cake though? When I left they showered me with Sri Lankan gifts, helped me pack, woke up super early to cook me breakfast and make sure I got to the airport bus on time — and even escorted me to the bus station like I was the US President! Haha. I was blown away by the exit party. For <$7, I can’t believe this place exists. I struck gold finding this place, and I will 1000% be coming back to stay here again. To top it all off, I met some awesome guests who were just like me. This place attracts good people. If you’re a backpacker, remote worker or just someone who’d like to experience Sri Lankan hospitality at its best, do yourself a favour and stay here. Best customer care I’ve ever received anywhere ever — full stop.

I love my hosts! They were the best, feels like home. My room and bathroom was spotless and very clean. Love my balcony with the view of monkeys.

A little bit far, but it’s a plus and minus in the same time

Easy access to main bus routes, hotels & markets. Breakfast is good

I have booked for 2 beds for 2 guests but they have given only one bed and a metrass given to 2nd guest to slp on the floor. Too much mosquitoes in the room which is not feel uncomfortable for sleep

The pics of the rooms on this site, was not the one given. It was one of the family rooms that were hurriedly cleared up and given to me. This was deceiving. The person who initially answered the phone was very rude. 🤔. The location is adjoining a huge Buddhist temple and entry and exit most difficult at a time religious ceremonies are taking place.

The owners were very welcoming and always smiling. The flat was very very clean and close to center and beaches.

Everything was good.

House owners are really nice and friendly. Washroom was very clean and dry.
