Very clean and beds were supper comfortable. Really friendly staff and the owner goes out of his way to make you feel special.

Our stay at Il Barilotto was wonderful! The place is beautiful with stunning sea views and well cared for, but what truly makes it special is the people. Giovanni and his family made us feel completely at home — so warm and welcoming! The homemade breakfast was delicious, made with love and fresh ingredients. Thank you so much, we’ll definitely be back!

The breakfast was outstanding and prepared for us individually each morning by the cheerful chef and our hosts. The views from the top floor, our room, and the breakfast area were outstanding. This is a family-owned and run business, and our hosts made us feel welcome and part of the family. They recommended a fantastic restaurant close by for dinner and we were picked up and dropped off at the door of the restaurant. Again, this was a traditional Italian restaurant that was family-owned and run. Amazing food and great atmosphere. We both loved our stay.

The hotel is located a few km's from Positano town, but the bus service dropped us at the door when we returned from our day exploring. The hotel also provided free transport to and from the top of Positano at set times throughout the day.
