ININStayed here recently and honestly, the experience wasn’t great. While the location is peaceful and set beautifully on a hil, something we actually appreciated since we knew it would be away from town. The stay itself was far from comfortable. The biggest issue was cleanliness. There were 8-9 cockroaches in the room, not just one or two. I understand it’s a more remote, village-like setting, but basic pest control is a must and this definitely needs to be taken care of by the owner. The staff on-site were actually quite helpful and polite, so no complaints there. However, the person handling the bookings seemed completely disinterested. I requested a room upgrade and even offered to pay the rate difference, he said he would let us know, but I never heard back. The room we asked for was available, so the lack of communication was really disappointing. Overall, the place has potential due to its location and vibe, but without better maintenance and guest service, it’s hard to recommend right now. Hope the management takes this seriously because the staff are doing their part.

This property is misrepresented as a resort—it's essentially a private house with an unmaintained swimming pool. There are only four rooms, and ours was extremely small—barely enough space for a bed. It lacked windows and ventilation, making the air unbearably stuffy at night. The location is remote, with no activities nearby and no scenic views to compensate for the isolation. Access to the property is also problematic. The approach road is steep and challenging to navigate—we struggled even with a Ford EcoSport. It becomes particularly dangerous after dark, as there’s no lighting on the road. The pool was visibly dirty with green water and clearly not safe for swimming. We had initially booked for two nights but decided to check out after just one.

INThe location is serene and very peaceful with lots of greenery. The rooms are super clean.Staff are very helpful. Will be a better place once it is fully developed. Right now, one can opt to stay only if you are looking for a quiet, peaceful stay.
These points need to be taken care of. Our room toilet taps and flush were all loose and broken and leaking. The swimming pool needs a better, bigger filteration plant according to the size of the swimming pool, as the water was not that clean. The food takes too long to prepare, the management have to keep additional helper for the kitchen.
INFull of privacy, outstanding location, swimming pool area is exceptional. Must visit.food is also testy. Get a beer and chill 🍻.
I don't understand why most of the shillong rooms not using a ceiling fan. It's too hot in Shillong (above 30⁰c).a table fan is not enough.Ac isn't important but a ceiling fan must required
