INThe Arcadia was a rare find on Booking.com, to begin with. The service was impeccable: The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious. The rooms were spacious and sanitised thoroughly. The villa manager, Jiten, was most accommodating of our requests for directions, food options, linen, breakfast spread, etc. The property overlooks a large field, with a silhouette of Shillong in the background. It twinkled with stars by night. It's a lone villa atop a hill, which was a climb to get to, but we had no trouble at all, as it was a well furnished road. We stayed by the infinity pool for the majority of our time there, and enjoyed having the property to ourselves. A must visit ❤️

INLocation is good. Behaviour is good.
No taxi service. The premise has a car. One way travel to Shillong costs Rs 2000 ( just 24 kms). Food preparation takes one and half hour. No professional staff. Cleanliness is average. Only four rooms. No other facilities.
