SGThe Arcadia Resort is an amazing place to relax and rejuvenate in tranquil. The resort is located on a hilltop with an amazing view in front of it. The hotel manager Mr. Jiten is a very helpful person, taking care of each and everything you need during your stay. Rooms were spotlessly clean. The food was amazing. No Bar service. Need to carry your own booze. The swimming pool is an added benefit with a mesmerising view. A must visit place for an amazing stay.

ININIt is very good. Great location, views and ambience. The owner and staffs were also very helpful. Also, very close to airport. So stay here if you have an evening or post 2pm flight, then go to Shillong/Dawki/Cherrapunji the next morning.
Bit away from city, but again its a good point also.

The distance from habitation makes it difficult to get to. It would be helpful if management arranges for transportation from a primary point / location to the property- and back.

INArcadia resort is located a bit interior from the main road (3km inside) however the road is easy and well maintained. This is off the highway going towards east from Umroi airport. This area is outside Shillong city limits and will take 45 minutes to reach Shillong. Being outside the city hustle, and in a serene area, one will definitely enjoy the stay. The best part is that the resort is situated on a hillock; and you will get a 360 degree view across mountains and valleys. The view are breathtaking. The lawn, the swimming pool, the long verandah and other open areas will make your stay enjoyable. You can spend a lazy day strolling in an around the resort. The staff is nice and helpful. They cook and serve pretty good meals. Being in a remote place, you must place orders well in advance. Rooms are clean and spacious with modern furniture. Every room has a separate seating area with sofa and table, that makes the living comfortable. Upper floor rooms have attached balconies with a splendid view.
The rooms could be cleaned more often. Bathrooms needs more up keep. There are flies and insects, being closure to the nature. But not bothersome.
