Lavender House Weymouth

Cosy comfy beds, plenty of space. Dog friendly.

The house was in great condition, had everything that you would need. They haa a lot more thn excepted. Really enjoyed our stay there. The location too was perfect for travel towards the Jurassic coast. We chose to take the public transport which was just 5 mins walk to the bus stop. Local amenities are around the corner and if you travelling by train very close to the station. We had just one car and had a allocated parking, which was just a min walk away from the property and securely parked.

Location was close to the beach and breakfast facilities. Rooms were a good size, felt clean and very comfortable. Key system works well.

Bathroom window catch was broken and I felt a little insecure consequently. Stained mattress on first floor bed, didn’t see until beds were stripped. Shower though adequate, reminded me of a submarine to operate. Pipe leaks at the top and balancing the heat took an engineers touch.

Great clean and spacious house, the perfect base for our weekend.

Water supply to the various showers was a bit dodgy when they were all in use but not a major problem.

Lovely house, short walk to the beach and amenities. Lavender House had everything that you would need and more.

Perfect for a group. Lots of room and well furnished with everything you could need. Close to the beach and easy walking distance of the main shops. Great communication with the host and clear welcome/ local tips/ leaving Instructions. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Ideal location Very comfortable

The location was fine for the purpose of the trip however the community centre just down from the property attracted many youths who played loud music late into the night and generally gave a poor impression of the area.

Some of the furnishings were a little more worn than the pictures suggested. Some of the beds were on casters which allowed them to move. The garden area looked a little unloved.
