Relaxed feel with comfy lounges & friendly staff. Great bar with good range of beers & spirit. Good value Restaurant with varied menu including Vegetarian & Gluten-free options. Dog friendly. Plenty of car parking.

Unresponsive to emails/ phone messages when trying to book early check in. Early check in was not worth the additional £25 fee. Apparently there is currently a lack of staff and reception is only open at certain times. Unclear instructions regarding late access to hotel (at 11.30pm) - no key available to let yourself in. No response to issues that have been raised. Lack of communication led to high anxiety for older relatives staying away from home. Disappointing as we only live up the road.

Traditional building very old managed as a hotel with respect. The staff were all professional ,polite, and nothing was any trouble. The room was comfortable and clean. Everything was perfect for me.

We were visiting friends and have stayed before. The hotel is accessible and comfortable. We did not have breakfast as we had a very long drive home but we have had breakfast in the past and it has been very nice. The staff were friendly and helpful. We will come back.

The shower in the room (2) was very slow and the bath took an age to fill. The door was also very loose and the pin holding the hinge would not go back in. It wasn't really a problem but after a busy day we were disappointed that the bath took almost 20 minute to get to a reasonable depth and then was tepid.

I have stayed here regularly over the past 3½ years, and the improvements made during that time mean it just keeps getting better. The rooms are always clean and very comfortable, and the team are consistently friendly and helpful. Particular thanks go to Tina and Irina, who always make my stay especially welcoming. Dinner in the restaurant is plentiful, hot, and delicious. A huge thank you to the whole team, and Merry Christmas to you all - I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying here.

The room and staff were very good

We was given room 9 that was directly under the disco system, the hotel knew 100 percent it was going to be extremely loud, in fact it was 192 db that i recorded. They refused to offer me a refund blaming booking .com ☹️. I have formally asked booking .com and the hotel for a refund as the room should never have book booked

Lovely vibe, friendly attentive staff, stylish communal areas with comfy seating for couples and small groups. Reasonable prices for drinks and food, excellent breakfast.

Muddy areas in car park.
