"Nice stay"

Room was fine and met our needs, and it was clean. Tea, coffee etc Shower was good. Nice little touches in the room. We were happy with our stay, location was good

We didn’t have any dislikes, the property was good value for the money that we paid.

"Nice staff and breakfast but room needed attention."

The breakfast was lovely, the location was easy to get to from the centre of town, and the staff was very accommodating.

The stairs getting up to the top floor were terrifyingly narrow and there was no railing to hold onto, so be sure not to book the top floor (twin room) if you have any difficulty at all with stairs or even a big suitcase. The room was tiny, which was ok for a one-night stay but only just. The shower was plugged, so we had to stand in 2 inches of dirty water from the previous guest(s) while we showered.

The tea and cookies, a large shower with hot water, comfortable bed, quiet yet very accessible location to the city, friendly and attentive staff and a cat that popped by for breakfast.

I could hear other people talk and slam doors sometimes, but nothing a good pair of ear plugs couldn't fix!
