Everything about the property, the rustic feel, nature surrounded rooms, you can spot so many wild berries are growing in the property that you can actually just pluck and eat, which I learnt during my stay, like Kafal and Hisaalo, the food was just as what we wanted, homely yet super delicious. I think people who like to spend time with nature must, must check them out.

Loved the comfortable stay at Happy Dervish. The caretaker staff were very good and arranged very good meals for us. The property has 3 friendly dogs who like to be around guests. We enjoyed a lot with them esp. my 9yr old son, and they were helpful to guide us through to the trek to the nearby temple. Dog lovers will absolutely cuddle up these canines, dog neutrals will instantly fall in love with them, and dog haters will find themselves in dilemma - to pat them, or adore them from distance. Overall very nice stay, very good food, very helpful caretakers (special thanks to Saurabh), and loud woof woof to the super friendly dogs :)

The open area could be upgraded a bit...need a Gardner badly and some maintained flora and hedging .

Exceptional hospitality by the staff, delicious home cooked food and the rusty decor made us feel at home. In this boutique homestay, everything was taken care of by Mr. Kailash, right from cleaning the rooms to preparing hot meals and also arranging a cab for us, we felt at ease. The three friendly dogs made the stay of three nights even more memorable. We'll definitely suggest this place to people who want to stay at offbeat locations and not your typical hotels.

I stayed at Happy Dervish homestay for 4 nights & had a wonderful experience. The rooms are comfortable, clean & have a gorgeous view of the mountains and trees. The homestay provides peace, calm & privacy which is missing in hotel chains. Food was comforting like home cooked meals. The owners of the homestay are so warm ( Neha & Sameer) and we enjoyed our conversations with them. Special call out to Sreerupa who was leading guests service & took extra care to elevate our experience at the homestay. There are many easy hikes to nearby villages & local market. At time, Zara and Peppy - who are super cute & friendly pahadi dogs of the homestay, came along with us for these hikes. We had a very good experience overall & would like to revisit the place next time we are in Uttrakhand.
