Out of the 15 accommodations we've had in New Zealand, this was the one that stood out for us. The friendliest hosts, charming cottages and a delicious café - calm, clean, enchant and beautiful!

The cottage was gorgeous, in excellent condition (I thought it was brand new as everything was impecable). The host, Theresa, was super nice and very helpful. The sun drenched afternoon surrounded by hundreds of birds flying all over the flowers was stunning.

Stunning location, the rooms are situated in a well kept but wild-feeling garden full of birds and butterflies. The rooms had a lovely homely cottage design, a good size and great facilities. Fully decked out and modern feeling common area with all cooking facilities you’d need. Hosts were lovely, very quick to welcome us and give us pointers on where to get food locally and see the sunset.

It was beyond our expectations! The excellent quality of the hospitality, the stunning beauty of the setting, and the comfort of the accommodation, everything contributed to a truly memorable stay. The hosts were genuinely kind, attentive, and welcoming, making us feel immediately at ease. The garden is mesmerizing — beautifully landscaped with a spectacular array of flowering plants. The bungalows are charming and well spaced, providing both privacy and opportunities to meet other travelers, especially thanks to the common kitchen area, which is very convivial. It is also very well equipped and spacious, allowing meals to be enjoyed both indoors and outdoors under the porch. Everything was spotless, well maintained, and although the property is near the road, it is incredibly peaceful. The bathrooms are in a separate bungalow but are very practical and immaculate. There is also a free laundry, with a clothesline set in the enchanting garden. Breakfast was exquisite, and meeting our hosts was an unforgettable experience — their warmth, kindness, and generosity made our stay truly special! That was a magical stay!
