Location was great

It was a very bare bones place to stay. Bring your own coffee if you want any.

The location was excellent, the villa had stunning views from the 2nd floor, spacious and enough room for a family of four. Instructions and access for the villa was good. The local area was nice, short walking distance from restaurants, shops, attractions, ferry, bus stop etc. Classy part of lake Como, less busy than Bellagio which was what we wanted, less tourists!

No air con, so it was really warm at night and struggled to sleep during the stay, but the fans did help in each bedroom. The only annoying thing for us was the trains weren't running to the area due to maintenance which is why we chose the location, but the buses were regular so this did help, but took a bit longer when arriving and departing.

Great location close to the train station, ferry port and cafes. Spacious apartment with a view of the lake. It was lovely to have the balcony and we enjoyed eating there. Varenna is beautiful and we were very happy to have chosen it as our base for the week.

The apartment would benefit from a refresh, it is quite worn and not especially clean in places. We had issues with several of the fixtures - shower, curtain pole, door handle. We felt that these could be easily remedied with a little time and effort.

Fabulous apartment! Picturesque views around! Highly recommended! Location is superb- everything is so close (train station just 5 min walk, boat station 2 min walk, shops,restaurants are around). Price is reasonable. Facilities in the apartment are comfortable! Definitely we want to come back!

Great location and value for money. Good communication from the Agent/owner. Walk to the ferry and restaurants. Lovely mountain view from the front window.

Not enough blankets. We were cold sleeping at night. Old Kitchen no power points. Pay Parking is at the train station or near the ferry.

Location was probably the best thing about apartment

It was very noisy at night and in the mornings PowerPoint in kitchen wasn’t working . No railings or hooks to hang towels in bathroom . Fridge was small. Couldn’t get into property as was given wrong information about what key to use. No parking available and that was not really stated core on booking.com information when I booked .

The location is excellent. Very close to the train station and easy access to the town and ferries to the other cities.

Could use a coffee maker that is easier to use. The only one use some weird pods that you can't find in town. The outlet in the kitchen also needs repair - there are appliances that don't have a place to plug in on the kitchen.

The location was great

Could of had more items in kitchen suitable for 5 people, a proper kettle not a travel one that you had to use on the floor, another sofa, not uncomfortable garden chairs round the table, very tired looking.
