IMConveniently located in the centre of the town. Parking available, although spaces are very tight. Breakfast was lovely. Good coffee and excellent smoked salmon and scrambled eggs.
The room was very small and had two steps up to the bathroom that were tricky to see in the night. Limited space for bags etc. The towels were a bit small and thin.

Too much noise as this is a pub that runs live music and has seating right below rooms. Room was hot and had no air conditioning although you can open the window. However then you get the noise from the people drinking below until after midnight. Every Saturday there is a market which is located in the town square, right outside your window, and set up began at 5:30am - people talking, boxes being dropped, stalls being set up, etc

GBStaff were friendly, room was well furnished with a comfortable bed. Food in the evening and at breakfast was very good.
Only things were that the shower head (room 1) probably needs replacing and my wife struggled with the green LED in the emergency light, but as that's a safety thing then we can't really complain!

Tiny car park, difficult to get in and out, or had to get people to move cars over.

Our bedroom overlooked the square so it was quite noisy and the first morning we were woken early by the bin lorries and barrel changes of the local pubs. This is just a by-product of being in the heart of the city, so not the fault of the Tilted Wig. The washbasin in the bathroom is like a toy one - difficult to use for anything but merely washing ones hands. The shower leaked but that was fixed as soon as we reported it.
