My wife and I stayed here for two nights while visiting Ly Son and had a great stay. Though the staff speak little English (and us no Vietnamese), they tried their best to communicate and help us throughout our stay. We rented a motorbike directly from them (they even discounted it because we only used it for half a day). The room itself was very spacious and comfortable and was on a quiet street. We were also on a higher floor so there was a nice view from the outdoor hallway/rooftop area. Overall, it is a very simple but lovely hotel with an extremely kind and helpful couple running it.

There was quite a strong smell coming from the drains in the bathroom. While this is likely an infrastructure issue and not necessarily the owner’s fault, it was quite unpleasant when you came back into the room after it had been closed up for a few hours during the day. The location was also not great, but we learned that was because there has been a change in the port that the ferry drops people off at (but maybe only sometimes). In our case, we expected a 5 minute walk after arriving on the ferry but actually had to walk 30 mins. Again, this is not necessarily the owner’s fault.
