Excellent experience with host and property. I highly recommend staying here!!

The property was located in an prime spot of Ortigia. Our host maintained excellent contact with us and provided very good information in regard to parking, restaurants, etc near our location. He also provided excellent service by transporting us to our parking spot about 1.2 km away when we checked out. Thanks Francesco.

Our kettle did not work from first use on day 1 and although we reported this to the host that morning, we had dto do without for the three days of our stay.

This is a very well maintained townhouse at your disposal. You have 3 levels + a rather large roof terrace. One sleeping room has a separated bathroom+WC, the other bathroom is located next to the separated kitchen. 3 independent sleeping rooms. The place is in a very good state and equipped in a thoughtful way that really makes living there very convenient: we found everything we need to relax and explore the city. WLAN and easy to access power supply in all rooms (incl. terrace). Terrace (now) has a texture "roof" so you will find that you will spend much of your time there enjoying the sea view. Bikes @ ground floor are free to use (expect standard bikes, 2 also have lights). The location is great, everything is in short walking distance and of course you will find shops and bakeries open on sun- and holidays. Small beach and a bathing platform (until beginning of.Nov) are also close by. Francesco, the owner, was very friendly and helpful. Check in and out was easy and he provided our "shuttle" to the train station. Unfortunately we did't have time to check out his MOON restaurant close by which received also good ratings. This is a place to come back to. Thanks.

Fantastic host, great position, very clean

Would suggest a large blind to hang down from rail of shade structure on the terrace to provide shade from afternoon sun as is unbearable until sunset. Also some some for top level room also to protect from afternoon sun.

Parking

Wonderful location; places of interest most accessible. Spacious and well equipped accommodation. Good air con and Wi-Fi. Super terrace, sea views and sun loungers. Francesco left us an extremely generous ‘welcome pack’ and he was able to answer all queries promptly and kindly dropped us off at the station on our return journey. Perhaps a visitor information guide might have been useful.
