Happy Trails Bed and Breakfast

This is a charming traditional B&B near Bryce Canyon National Park. It's in a cute small town called Tropic, UT which is about 15 minutes east of Bryce - an easy drive. There is a great coffee shop and good restaurants in Tropic. The B&B has about 8 rooms on two floors and a shared common area. When I was there, I was the only guest so the common area was my own - I used it to work in one day. Breakfast was great with pancakes, eggs, bacon, juice and coffee. Really appreciate the staff who were very friendly.

Room was clean. Location wasn't too far from the park

This is not a B&B, no hosts. Never saw them. More like a cheap hotel. We chose to stay in a B&B so we could learn from the hosts about the area. We were texted a room #4 and a code to enter. No reception. Beds were terrible. Queen mattress was bumpy - had to double the blanket like a sleeping bag to make the bed comfortable. That caused me to sleep on the top trundle bed - that mattress was so sunken I had to put a pillow in the middle to flatten the bed enough to sleep. Needless to say, we left a day early leaving $140 behind. Also, Host asked if I had any requirements for breakfast, yes gluten free. There wasn't any GF.

We waren in de wolken over ons verblijf van vier dagen in Happy Trails. Ik las dat veel mensen klagen over het lawaai van bovenburen of over de geur van spek en eieren 's morgens, maar de vriendelijkheid van de manager, de stijlvolle inrichting, de grootte van de kamer, de mogelijkheid om de was te doen, de ligging nabij Bryce Canyon (je kan vanuit Tropic rechtstreeks naar Bryce Canyon stappen via de Tropic Trail) compenseerden dat ruimschoots voor ons. Kortom, we hadden een fantastisch verblijf, het was het hoogtepunt van onze reis na allerlei onpersoonlijke hotels met 'plastieken' ontbijten.

We liked that they had laundry available and breakfast in the morning. Place was very nice, clean and comfortable. Staff was excellent.

Wasn’t quite as close to Bryce Canyon as we would have liked but still worked great.

Light left on in Hall closet second night kept me up.

De locatie, de hygiëne, de netheid, leuk ingericht! Echt een hele leuke en mooie plek.

Het brandalarm ging zo’n 7 keer af tussen 23.00 u en 7.00 u. Dat zorgde helaas voor een slechte nachtrust. Er staat overal dat het een familiebedrijf is, maar we hebben niemand gezien. Dat vonden we jammer. Ook dat niemand z’n excuses aanbod voor het vele wakker worden dankzij het brandalarm op een andere verdieping. De koffie cupjes kon je zelf pakken er was alleen geen apparaat voor, dat was apart.
