"Tranquil stay"

We stayed for 9 nights and had a wonderful time. Mr. Shobhith and the owner Mr. Mahesh made our stay very pleasant. They provided home made breakfast and tea every morning around 8 AM which was great. The small villa has a fully functional kitchen, a dining table, a large bedroom with attached bathroom. There is also space to sit outside and relax. The property is 10 mins drive (4 kms) from Bekal Fort and just 5 mins from the main highway connecting Kannur, Kasargod and Mangalore. This is a riverside property with plenty of coconut trees making it look like a tropical paradise. The guests can also sit and relax near the backwaters. It was raining heavily when we stayed but there were no waterlogging/flooding issues whatsoever. The power backup was always there and the internet worked even during heavy rains. The location is perfect for exploring most parts of Northern Kerala and even Mangalore. I would highly recommend it for both short and long stays.

"A relaxing stay in Bekal"

We love the laid back and quiet atmosphere of Bekal Village Homestay. There’s a nice view of the backwater. So serene! The room was spacious and it got everything we need. Shobit was helpful and always responsive. There’s a nearby walkable beach, around 2km away, which made it more awesome.
