Villa Gallorosso

This was the best hotel on our trip to Italy, not one of them. The apartment is ideally located with views of Tuscany on the outskirts of Florence, and everything in the room is carefully maintained. It was perfect. Renzo, the owner, is very helpful in figuring things out. He even drove me to the city center.

This is the most amazing place. The host, Renzo and his wife, were so kind and hospitable from the moment we came, to the moment we left. We felt part of the family in every way. They even gave us a lift into Firenze, and they also made a special place for us on their balcony, where we had our dinner the second night. In fact Renzo and his colleague, Yuri, even fixed my glasses, which had fallen apart. Quite a skill and added service 😊. This is a truely special place, where Renzo, his wife and colleague, made us feel welcome in every way. And of course with Firenze in the backyard and the small idyllic town a few steps away, we surely hope to be back some day. Our very best recommendations.

Extremely warm, charming and spacious

Fantastic Villa, with amazing views, very comfortable room with all the necessary amenities, super clean and well furnished. The host were amazing, very kind, friendly, also small dog Ali, very cute and always happy. Very close to the bus stop, very quiet and cozy neighborhood. Hosts offered coffee and some sweets every morning, the house was like a small museum, with amazing paintings and books.

The rooms are beautiful and the owner is exceptional. It was the most interesting and beautiful place I’ve stayed in all of my travels. I’m not exaggerating. There is original artwork everywhere, beautiful garden spaces and an olive tree grove. The views are incredible, and I wish I was related to the owners, haha. So sweet.

There isn’t anything about the property I did not like. Not related to the property, but the bus system to get to downtown Florence can be a little confusing. Renzo, the owner, is very helpful in figuring things out. He even drove me to the airport on the last day.

On this trip in Italy I have been traveling for 2 months and have stayed in 12 different hotels B&B and this one of the best.

I loved staying at Villa Gallorosso. It's in a gorgeous town right outside of Florence, but with access to the city via public transportation. Renzo was probably the best host I could've asked for. Not only was he very accommodating, he offered to drive me several times to where I needed to go. It was an exceptionally kind gesture, and I really enjoyed my stay here overall.
