Incredibly kind staff at the Opera hotel where you picked up the key and checked in. The room was also good, also close to the beach as well

A bit sad that you have to go to another hotel to get the key and check in, but for us it didn't matter, it wasn't that far to walk.

The location is great, just 5 mins walking from the South beach. The receptionist was very sweet and accommodating. Airco worked fine and I had a room facing the small street on the side so it was quiet.

To start with the big shocker of the stay is that either the bed or the provided blanket had bedbugs:) For two nights I was convincing myself I had mosquitoes in my room until I woke up the last day and realized it was indeed bedbugs. The bed protectors underneath the sheets had not been cleaned and there was all sort of gunk there. I don't know if it was a negative but I had a whole pigeon nest on the outside unit on my airco. The common spaces smelled of mold and there was mold on the tiles in the bathroom. The cherry on top is, that the pickup location for the keys is definitely not 400 meters away from the apartment but at Opera Hotel which according to Google Maps is 1,4km away or 20 minutes walking so you most likely would need a taxi if you have a lot of luggage.

Close to the beach and city center, clean, good air conditioning.

Only 1 bathroom for sharing but there was not long waiting time during our stay. Check-in is in another location, although it's not far so not a big deal.

Close to the bus station

First of all, you gotta pick up the key a mile away from the hostel. So I had to take a taxi 2 times. This way the price of this place cost me the same as a nice 4 star hotel. Don't get this place, it is not worth it. The hostel was rude and arrogant too.

Bathroom is luxury, video surveillance in common space, small kitchen is available for guests.

Obtaining the keys can be quite challenging as the check-in location is situated far from the apartment.
