Casa Gitana -Only Adults-

das haus hat eine wunderschöne terasse, mit pool, und blick aufs meer, man will von da gar nicht mehr weg. das super nette personal und das leckere gastronomische angebot haben den aufenthalt komplett gemacht. ich würde sofort wieder zurück kommen.

The space was quiet (I think we were the only guests). The pool and yoga decks had great views of the water- I spotted a sea tutle laying eggs from the yoga deck! Yoga mats available for use. The third floor with the jacuzzi was great too. Our room was sea view but I would say that was a stretch. You could see the ocean if you sat off to one side but there were some obstructions with plants. Room was basic but had a/c, places to hang wet clothes, hot water and body wash/shampoo. There was water available in the common spaces and Wifi worked great!

There was sand in our room when we arrived, which I get is hard to avoid since the room exits onto sand however it was like some spots were missed when cleaning. Our room was not cleaned during our stay (4 nights)- no trash emptied, no towels replaced, no sheets changed. We didn't expect everyday cleaning but at least once would have been nice. The staff is friendly and engaging if you initiate but I wouldn't say they were very helpful. We asked about a tour but there wasn't any followup. There was a sign for yoga but no one really gave us the rundown. There is a 3rd story that we had to ask about using. The pool was not clean. We ended up replacing the water after it sat empty for 1/2 a day- there were full jugs on the ground. Again, they were very friendly but just some hospitatlity that was missing. Communication prior to arrival was poor. We found out that our staff had only been there a week so possibly why but the owners should be in better control of this. They send an email explaining theres no atms and island is mostly cash only. I inquired about costs of different things since we needed to prepare and did not receive a response. We had to message 4+ times to get a response. You had to pay to use the 3rd story during sunset. No coffee until 8:30a :(

Casa Gitana feels like a home away from home. The rooms are clean and cool, the hosts (and their lovely dog) are super friendly and the pool area as well as the beach are great to relax. Breakfast options are good, and they have a different healthy dish for lunch every day. The town centre is about a 15 min walk. Overall, would highly recommend staying here!

We loved our stay our casa gitana. Not only because its a beautiful place, but mostly thanks to Noe and Martin. They created a very familiar atmosphere, they made sure everyone had a good time and their food is very delicious. We stayed in the front beach hut and loved sleeping to the sound of the waves and with the ceiling fan the temperature was very comfortable to sleep at night. Make sure to get a massage from viola as well, she‘s incredible. Would definitely recommend and come again anytime

We had a magical time at Casa Gitana- it is a really special place and I couldn't recommend it enough. Noe and Martin are amazing hotel managers who really looked after us and made sure everyone was having a fantastic time. The hotel itself is beautiful, Noe cooks really tasty food and there are lots of comfy sun loungers and places to relax in the sun or shade.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Gitana. The wonderful view from the pool area and the location were a highlight for sure.

We had a great stay at La Casa Gitana. The location is amazing—right by the sea, with the rooms opening directly onto it. It’s just far enough from town to be peaceful, yet only a 10-minute walk away, which is perfect. The place is well-equipped, and Noelia, our host, was incredibly helpful and kind. Highly recommended.

The couple who run the place are very kind and welcoming. The facilities, such as the pool, are very comfortable, we used it a lot. The rooftop pool is amazing as well, although it’s not always available. Communication beforehand was excellent, with clear instructions on how to get there. We had some problems with our cabin, they handled it very quick and came with a solution. They also organize activities, like communal dinner.

There are definitely some areas for improvement. The accommodation has a lot of potential. Such as; In a place like this, you can expect insects. Especially since the rooms have gaps and openings. I don’t understand why there are no mosquito nets; that seems like a basic necessity to me. For the price you pay per night, I would expect not to have to worry about things like this and to enjoy a more luxurious stay. I believe the deluxe rooms might have fewer issues, but they are also twice the price. I also felt that more attention could be given to the cleanliness of the property, including the pool.
