Hartley Manor Guest House

We loved the cottage atmosphere and the biggest bonus was that the fellow canine residents would come over and chill with us. They are so cute, Jessica, Eddie & Skip. We miss them already. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean.

We didnt have hot water. Not sure if there was a problem over the time we stayed there.

Staff friendly

Coloured bed linen. No tea or coffee facilities in room as per description No patio/ garden furniture as per description. Bathroom floor needed painting Towels very worn No coat hangers

Firstly we did not see end out with the place, we actually packed our things and went back home. There was no power when we got there, no kettle to boil water to have some coffee. The bath mats were dirty and we really couldn’t rest with the generator that they put on right outside the doos of the guest rooms.

When we checked in the staff just gave us our room keys and did not say much else. To our surprise, we could not use any on the electric appliances which were provided and were informed very rudely that we have to arrange with management up front should we want to use the appliances. This was due to their solar system being inadequate. This also meant that at 10 at night there was no power and only came on at around 9am. When we got up in the morning there was no hot water for us to shower. Definitely not worth the price we paid.

Quiet and peaceful place

Facilities were not impressive,Fridges not working,geyser not working,spiderweb on the walls,Doors not locking properly,no microwave as per the furniture

Easy to locate on Google Maps Reception arranged to admit us early so we could freshen up before attending a wedding It was clean and very comfortable The breakfast was excellent and prepared right there in the dining room

There was a power failure just after we arrived back from the function at about 21h30. This only came on at about 08h00 in the morning There was just one emergency lamp in the bedroom and nothing in the bathroom The was no hot water in the morning probably due to the power failure.

The venue was closer to Avianco and staff was welcoming

It was cold and no heater but extra blanket was pyovided
