Beautiful Apartment 2 mins To The Beach

This is a absolute gem of an apartment! No trace of the battered charity shop furniture often found in holiday lets. Everything was contemporary, co-ordinated and colourful - clearly chosen by someone who has great taste and really cares about their guests. Definitely the best we've ever stayed in and we both remarked how much we would have loved a place like this as our first home. Great Wi-Fi and choice of TV channels too. Famous hoteliers Harry and Jean Norton recommended that everyone should spend a night in their own property to find any 'snags'. It was hard to find any but if I was being really picky (having a background in travel, I am REALLY picky) I would point out the following: beware the wobbly toilet seat, it can bite your bum! The shower drains so slowly we had a slight flood on our second morning, it would be a real shame if the lovely floor covering got damaged. A hair dryer is provided but nowhere is there a socket near a mirror - this is something widely ignored even in 5* hotels. My hairstyle is largely point and hope for the best but anyone wanting to see what they were doing would struggle. Perhaps one of the lovely hearts by the bed could be replaced with a mirror. The kitchen is well equipped but a butter dish and a couple of bowls for fruit and/or salad would be a useful addition. Like I said, really picky but the host has put such care and effort into making this apartment special, I hope they won't mind me pointing these tiny things out.

Parking! Obviously this is beyond the control of the host. On-street parking was very hard to find and limited to a 2 hour stay unless a resident. Are there any temporary/visitor permits to be had from the council? That would certain make things easier. The nearest car park only allows a 4 hour stay and we were advised by a local it was 'dodgy'. Eventually we found space in another surface car park about a mile from the apartment.

Location is excellent walking distance to the sea , shops & restaurants . Bus stop & Train station very close for travelling around parts off St Leonard’s and Hastings etc . Property perfect size for a couple, clean great kitchen with all facilities catered for . Modern bathroom with walk-in shower clean . When we had a small problem with some water on floor host attended to immediately .
