Clean and spacious

Valentina is located right next to one of the best parts of Playa Holbox. Some of the best hotels an beach clubs are nearby. The thing that really made de difference for us and our stay was their recommendations of restaurants. We've been to 4 of them and they were amazing. We did not know we could eat so well in Holbox. There is also a "rent-a-bike" nearby that made all the difference in our short stay. You can reach Punta Coco and Centro in a few minutes by bike Adrián and his cousin (can't remember his name right now) were great and helped us during our stay. Everything is new (kitchen appliances, cooking facilities, etc). Great value for money!

Nothing specific about Valentina, but Holbox is growing quite fast and they currently don't have the necessary infrastructure to receive so many tourists. You can smell sewage in some parts of the island and there are large puddles in the streets, which spoils the experience a little.

2 minutes from the beach. The rooms are clean and spacious. Shower is huge, great water pressure. Very quiet, although one afternoon there was a generator running at a nearby property. Nothing they can do about that though. Very tranquil at night. Perfect for sleeping. Great value for the money. Try La Cabane restaurant a block away for amazing tacos.

Not much really. I guess if I wanted to actually cook something there didn't seem to be a way to do that aside from the toaster oven and microwave. So many food options around though.

It was close to the beach. The grounds were well maintained and nice.

It was not near many shops or restaurants.

Communication with the manager was the worst experience, if you have or if the property has any problem it’s own you. The place didn’t felt private, it’s surrounded by other rooms and people are passing by your windows all the time. All the streets that are next to the building are flooded so be prepared to get mud on your shoes / luggage. We found a really big spider on the bathroom. We understand that is not in a city but you could implement some kind of barrier to avoid it. We found better options in the island. Make a better research than us and enjoy Holbox.

We couldn’t ask for a nicer welcome than meeting Jacky! She lives on the property and is always available if you need something. We had a big storm and flood when we were staying. The whole island was without electricity and water. But we always had the chance to charge our phones, a generator was rhere for the water and Jacky and her team were there to make the best out of it. The Location is super nice. You can see and hear the ocean. Under a minute walk there. Everything was super clean. We would definitely book again when coming back to the island!
