Tentstar Eco Resort

It’s close to the beach and the man who works there is very nice to charge your stuff. His wife not so much, a bit arrogant.

No free water (it was 50php per bottle) which is a lot when there’s nothing near by to buy from. Which every where else offers. To get boiled water to make a ramen was also a bit of a hassle. The solar system to charge your stuff doesn’t work. So a bit silly. No lights in the tents, should be offered automatically. Very warm from 7.30/8am in the tent. A fan system outside the tent or inside would be great.

The ones running the Camp was very polite and serviceminded. I liked them. They helped me a lot.

The booking was not Ok. I saw a cottage but the booking was a tent. That picture was so small I missed it.

It’s a nice place to be. The hosts are very nice and make great food. The triangular house we stayed in was small and not very well lit, but very charming and made for a fun experience. The shared shower and toilet facilities are very adequate, even though not all had soap. Also, we walked to and from town, which is easily possible, but probably not for everyone.

The mosquito net in our room had holes in it and if you’re a bit tall (one of us is 2 meters / 6”6) your feet may come out underneath.

Amazing staff and owner, they treat you like family, and they do their best to make your stay pleasurable and inolvidable. The property has incredible views on the sea and the surrounding islands. There’s also a beautiful hidden beach nearby, I had it all to myself when I visited. The facilities were very clean, too.

We had scooters so it was excellent to be outside of the city in the quiet, that is how we like it 💚 Tentstar was a close scooter ride to Port Barton, on a great new cement road, it had a trail to the sea, it was an easy drive to nearby waterfalls on a dirt road towards San Vicente. The accommodation & shower/bathroom were clean. We felt safe & secure, the staff were helpful and friendly.

We had hoped their pool would be operational & there was not complimentary drinking water, we were able to purchase a jug and fill it in Port Barton.
