Tentstar Eco Resort

EVERYTHING! The staff is outstanding, they’re all extremely friendly. Mel and her husband do an amazing job with this place and are always keen to help. Mel is also a great cook, so you can enjoy fresh and homemade meals every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Despite the ‘remote’ location, they also have great wifi and amenities. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful, inviting you to chillax at all times. We can’t wait to be back in this incredible place!

Good located and friendly owner. Tent is comfortable.

No electricity in the tent. Cold shower. No food in the area, we had to drive to port Barton town to eat.

Resort is very scruffy and facilities poor. Only 3 working showers. Pool has clearly not been used/cleaned in a long time but is still listed as a facility.

Staff and owners are incredibly available, funny, caring and truly kind. They run the business putting guests first. The tent was comfortable, with a peaceful and amazing view of the forest, food was great and service impeccable. I could rest well since the first night in the tent, despite the mattress is not the most comfortable. Quietness and friendliness as well as availability made my staying. Greatly recommended!

Probably getting another blanket would be ideal for nights in the tent.

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The sea view tent was amazing, one of my favorite places I’ve stayed in 2 months of traveling!

We loved the eco friendly environment, the more than welcoming staff and last but not least Mel‘s food, she’s a great cook - try her chicken Adobo!

There was nothing we didn’t like. But adding a bean bag here and there would be a small improvement:)

It’s a wonderful place away from all the hustle bustle of the town! Barely few mins bike ride away from Pamayan waterfall, Mel and Sean are one of the sweetest hosts I have met in a while! Rest of the staff is very cooperative, went there for a couple of days and ended up extending my stay. If you love peace of mind and sounds of nature this is the piece of paradise awaiting you on the outskirts of the town.

Steep walk to our room with sea view, although it was totally worth it! Make sure to pack a power bank for peace of mind too, although you can charge devices in the guest area :)
