For those seeking an authentic countryside experience, this place is an excellent choice. It’s a traditional village house that has been completely restored, with modern touches that enhance—rather than diminish—the charm of rural life as it was a century ago. We spent a wonderful weekend in the blue cottage with our family, enjoying the spacious garden, blooming trees, and the fresh green grass of late April. We lacked nothing during our stay; we were able to fully relax in the garden and breathe in the clean, fresh air. The village also features a lovely park for the area, and nearby there is a trout farm where the fish is fresh and delicious. During our stay, we also visited the Slănic Prahova Salt Mine and the Crasna Monastery, both of which are well worth seeing. Animal lovers will also be delighted to find many gentle and friendly cats in the yard.

One small downside was that one of the beds was not very comfortable, and we experienced some back pain in the mornings on both days.

The yard is shared and much smaller than it appears in the photos. ​Pets: We chose this place because it's pet-friendly, but upon arrival, we were told not to let our dog off-leash because there’s no fence and it might disturb other guests. ​Facilities: The water pressure in the shower was very weak, making it difficult to wash up. ​Bottom line: Recommended for those specifically looking for a rural experience, but double-check if it suits your needs as it's not for everyone."
