Gleneagles Apartment - Guthrie Court Gleneagles

Well located for Gleneagles. Clean and well furnished.

As the weather had gone colder instructions for how to work the heating would have been useful. We were cold the first 2 nights as we couldn’t work it out. It would also have been useful to have operating instructions for the dishwasher and other kitchen equipment. It was difficult to park on several occasions as all the spaces by the property were taken. On the final evening there was absolutely nowhere to park so we had to resort to parking in front of the garage linked to the property. There was no sign saying not to do this. We did not appreciate being called at 7am by the door intercom which screeched like a fire alarm rather than a door entry system as the partner of the housekeeper needed access to gain their work equipment. Damage to one of the interior walls next to the kitchen by the table around the feature picture spoils the overall look for such an expensive apartment in a quality resort. There were no housecoats despite these being in the specification. When asked we were told this was a mistake and none were provided. We would have brought our own had we known. Once opened we were unable to close the bathroom window. Unfortunately you can hear the noise - footsteps and television - from the apartment above. The few sachets of coffee, tea and sugar were mist welcome. Bring your own milk.

Location was perfect for our golf at Gleneagles. Easy access, within walking distance.

Apartment had not been properly cleaned. Eg TV and table dusty., windows not clean. For a ‘deluxe ‘ apartment you would expect good quality toilet paper and branded toiletries, neither in the apartment and had to be bought by ourselves Information on how to use the TV, heating system and cooker would have been handy. On a positive note it was in an ideal situation.

It was the little things! Not enough toilet paper ,refuse bags Tinfoil would have been good to protect the oven tray

Spacious, comfortable, bright, well equipped, great location, high quality.

Lighting could be a little cosier in the evening.
