Bethany Cottages

Lovely big room with large bathroom. Continental breakfast supplied, coffee, milk, coffee plunger, bread and condiments. Bed was comfortable; quiet location surrounded by great old farm equipment. 11am checkout!!!

The ironing board was challenging. Wouldn’t lock into place and kept collapsing! No tv reception.

It was very cozy

An excellent stay, for 2 nights. Loved exploring the area, by both walking (Heysen Trail) and bikes.

Breakfast supplies were basic, but fine

Gorgeous cosy cottage with lots of antique knick knacks to look at. Excellent water pressure. Comfortable bed. Nice continental breakfast provisions and excellent communication from the hosts.

Very cosy, great little combustion heater really completes it 👌 My wife and I loved the boardgames selection and I learnt how to play chess 😀 Sensational!

Not so much a dislike but an opportunity for consideration, a nice little outside bbq area would be quite awesome since the kitchenette is restricted.

Stunning! Lots of little touches make this so special. Great location- far enough out that it was peaceful, but close enough for a quick taxi to dinner. Bed was comfortable. Fire place was the stand out.

Not that I wanted to cook, but if you did it’s a small kitchenette. Enough room to do coffee and toast which is all we needed.

The host was so helpful, even offering to boil a kettle on her wood stove for our tea during an early morning blackout! Beautiful location in historic Bethany, farm and valley/ hill views. Quiet and peaceful. Warm with the wood heater. Very comfortable.

The lounge area could have used a little more light, a bit dark for reading
