Bethany Cottages

Plenty of bread for toast, plus jams and butter. Orange juice and low fat milk in fridge. Cereals also available. Owners very helpful and friendly. Wood fire on a winter's evening was really lovely. Location is great, a couple of minutes from Tanunda.

Would have liked easier cooking facility, was a little cramped if you wanted to cook eggs for instance.

Location and the ability to have a warm fire in the evening .

The building is a little tired

Location was fabulous, just out of Bethany, very quiet, vineyards opposite. Two units in the one old building, we stayed in No.1 by the road. Place is rustic, romantic and appropriate. There are 2 bedrooms, with one downstairs immediately as you enter the front door, which we didn't use. Upstairs (ground level) is a small kitchen area, bathroom, small lounge and dining, and a step up to a bedroom. Loved the fireplace during the cool autumn nights and sufficient paper and wood for a few nights. Small fridge and basic breakfast provisions, bread, jams and spreads, cereals. Bed is a double, comfy, very warm. Shower is in a bath and gas good pressure. Ironing board, iron and hair dryer provided.

Would have been nice to have some cooking facilities so we could make a hot breakfast. Just a microwave, toaster, electric jug.

The property exceeded all expectations and was warm, inviting, well equiped and perfectly located to explore the gorgeous Barossa Valley

Location to everything we wanted to see and visit. A good step back in time with the history of the place and interesting memorabilia.

Nothing a pleasant stay

Supplied with a larder which we put to good use for breakfast and other meals. Cottage with plenty of character. Large bathroom. Comfortable bed. A very quiet location other than the chorus of birds.

No complaints

Loved the serenity, location and history of the building. Comfortable amenities and our being to charge the ev overnight was an added bonus.
