Great Location in heart of Barossa, central to so many tourist attractions and wineries. Quiet Location, Gorgeous Views looking out over the Barossa hills and vineyards. Outdoor seats to enjoy the views with your morning coffee. Good Breakfast supplies, choice of Cereal packs, Locally Made Fruit Toast & Bread, choice of Spreads, Orange Juice, Coffee & Tea, everything you need for a continental breakfast. Comfortable QS bed, great size Bathroom. Carol really is a lovely host- kept us up to date with emergency lights with possible power failure or internet disruption due to severe weather occurring on our last couple of days. Thankfully not needed.

TV size with very limited local channel’s choice which was minor for us however if you do like to watch a bit of sport or lots of latest movies you might be a little disappointed.

Quaint cottage, perfect for a lovely weekend touring the Barossa. Carol and Erich couldn’t have accommodated us more - some little extra requests were easily accommodated.

Would have been nice to have a couch somewhere if possible

The location was perfect for access to the wineries in the region. Room was perfect for our needs. The owners were very helpful and kind.

The cottages are extremely comfortable with so many homely touches. We loved the historic building and surrounds and the numerous decorative elements depicting a time gone by.

The location is excellent, very quite and relaxing. The cottage is beautiful with very nice decor that takes you back in time. The bed is extremely comfortable and the supplies provided are more than I expected. Carol is an excellent host.

There wasn't anything I didn't like. Carol explained everything clearly, access to the property is easy. Great place to stay. I will return if going to the Barossa in the future. It is such a lovely area of SA to visit.

We loved the slow combustion heater. Fantastic. Loved the area and the bed was very comfy and good hot shower

Breakfast foods .. perhaps check if guests like low fat or full cream milk and what sort of bread. We are not keen on white bread and that was the only bread available.

Bethany Cottage #1 was a lovingly restored home with lots of quirky features. We loved the quiet countryside and dark nights. The breakfast was also very good.
