Hotel Landgasthaus Neues Bild, Eggerstanden

The hotel and owners were lovely and very welcoming. It is in a quiet village where you can enjoy the countryside and stay away from the very touristy parts nearby, but can still go see them very easily (less than 10 mins away from all the popular hikes, and you get a great view of the mountains as you drive towards them). The dinner menu is great and the breakfast is filling with lots of variety. It gave us a chance to try the different sorts of local cheese!

Petit déjeuner tout à fait convenable. Personnel accueillant, aimable et attentionné. Hôtel très sympa, bien situé, avec possibilité de parquer facilement sa voiture.

Accueil chaleureux, efficace et très professionnel. La personne parlait un français impeccable et était aux petits soins. Elle nous donné des conseils avisés sur les randonnées - qu’elle connaissait parfaitement. Le petit déjeuner était excellent, à base de produits frais et locaux. Emplacement très agréable dans la campagne à quelques minutes en voiture d’Appenzell. Chambre confortable et très propre. Le restaurant sert d’excellents plats.

S’il faut trouver quelque chose: la chambre est assez petite.

Personal: das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Für uns eine Überraschung, dass die Chefin ursprünglich eine Bernerin ist :-) Frühstück: das Frühstück war sehr gut und frisch zubereitet. Nachtessen: das Nachtessen war ausgezeichnet!

Beautiful setting and Corinne was so so pleasant and helpful. Food was very good too.
