Hotel Landgasthaus Neues Bild, Eggerstanden

We loved the location being just outside of Appenzell. Beautiful setting. Accommodations were very clean and comfortable. Our host was very nice and helpful. There was plenty of free, close parking. We appreciated the wonderful breakfast that was included. And, we stayed in for dinner at the restaurant one evening and it was equally delicious. We had a terrific stay and would highly recommend!

Our room was on the street side of the building and because of the heat we kept the windows open during the evening. This resulted in us hearing some road noise at night and the church bells that rang each morning at 6am. While we found it charming, the church bells are loud and very close.

Clean. Nice management.

Strong smell of manure from nearby cow barn required us to close windows. Room was this quite hot (summer). An additional fan would be helpful when more than one guest.

Die Gastgeber und das Personal waren ausserordentlich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.
