This place has been a great suprise! Don't judge from the photos, yes the building is old, it carries decades of history and hospitality but everything was clean, the people were extremely friendly and helpful and the area is rural but a quiet place. Rooms were spacious, bathrooms very clean, we had a great stay here. If you are planning to visit with kids, there is a children's playhouse right at the reception with many toys.

A little more options for the breakfast would be great. Not that they weren't enough.

"Angenehmer Kurzaufenthalt in idyllischer Umgebung Nähe Vierwaldstätter See und Pilatus"

Das Hotel ist im urigen Stil, alles sehr alt, aber gut erhalteb und sehr sauber. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und zweckmässig ausgestattet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit- ausser Freitag beim Frühstück hat die junge Dame kein „Deutsch“ verstanden und auch nicht serviceorientiert. Dafür war am Samstag die ältere Dame beim Frühstück topp freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen im eigenen Restaurant war auch sehr gut, die Lage des Hotels ist inmitten von Alpnach - zum Bahnhof ist es ein Fussmarsch von 10 Minuten.

Die Betten waren zu weich, eine Matratze war komplett durchgelegen- davon bekam ich die erste Nacht Rückenschmerzen. Danach habe ich die Matratzen gewendet und getauscht damit ging es die zweite Nacht besser.

"Nicht für mehrere Tage geeignet"

Sauberkeit des Zimmers, Küche des Restaurants.

Die Ausstattung des Zimmers mit einem Bauernschrank und einer alten Truhe war für für 5 Übernachtungen absolut nicht ausreichend. Man hat dann noch ein offenes Regal zugestellt. Man konnte kaum um das Bett gehen, welches dann auch noch einen Mittelsteg hatte...soetwas kennt man nur aus den 1960igern.

c'est une auberge familiale chaleureuse. la chambre est spacieuse et propre. petit déjeuner et restaurant très bien personnel très agréable et attentionné établissement bien situé avec parking privé je recommande vivement
