Hotel Alpbach

Die familiere Atmosfähre.und Gemütlichkeit.

Das Abendessen war ausgezeichnet. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr gut. Das Personal war überaus freundlich. Die Lage war ideal, man war sehr rasch bei der Gondelbahn oder im Dorfkern.

Für ein "Dorfhotel" war es sehr gut. Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln.

C'était top.

Das Dorf Meiringen ist sehr hübsch. Das Hotel ist zentral gelegen, wir waren schon mehrfach im Hotel Alpbach zum Skifahren. Es ist sehr empfehlenswert

Freundliches Personal. Zimmer sauber. Frühstück abwechslungsreich, grosse Auswahl.

Badezimmer hatte nur eine Glastüre.

Everything works well, close to gondola, staff is great, food is very good. A small tip to improve: slightly earlier breakfast than 7:30, it would help us be on the mountain activities earlier - some races are scheduled to be there at 8:15 which is not possible if the breakfast starts 7:30.

Dampfbad is written on the hotel as a feature but it doesn't work unfortunately.

As a family, we look for very specific qualities when choosing a hotel: beautiful scenery, comfort, delicious food, impeccable cleanliness, and all the necessary services. Hotel Alpbach exceeded every one of our expectations and is, without question, one of the very best hotels in Meiringen — if not the best. From the moment we arrived for our week-long stay, we were warmly welcomed by Nadine, whose genuine kindness and professionalism immediately made us feel at home. Throughout our stay, she was consistently attentive, gracious, and wonderfully hospitable. Her sincere and heartfelt manner is something truly rare in the hospitality industry. We travel frequently and have stayed in many 5- and 6-star hotels around the world. As discerning guests who are not easily impressed, we can honestly say that we could not find a single fault during our stay. The standard of cleanliness was exceptional — comparable to renowned establishments such as The Savoy and the Beverly Hilton, where we previously stayed in the same suite famously associated with Whitney Houston. In every respect, our experience was outstanding. The hotel is run by a truly lovely couple whose dedication and warmth make all the difference. Nadine’s genuine welcome and personal attention made our stay especially memorable. Please know how sincerely pleased and grateful we are for such a wonderful experience.
