Hotel Berghaus

Fabulous location! The view is incredible. Nice rooms with view and balcony. Restaurant serving food is made to perfection. A little uphill walk from the train station but the owner was kind enough to pick and drop us as my parents are aged. Would definitely come back

View from the property were amazing. cozy room. basic amenities. Host was amazing and did help us where she could - sincere thanks for that.

Hotel is uphill, so call the hotel to pick you from the train station if you have luggage. check-in was smooth. Rooms were nice however bathroom was congested and barely any space. the shower head was not fixed and it was a struggle to take shower in the bathtub. Bathroom lights were not enough, very dim. There was no hot water kettle in room, there was 1 kettle given per floor which was kept out in common area.

Everything was well thought out, beautiful setting, comfortable room. The host was very helpful and kind. She made us feel so welcome and helped us out with many logistical challenges. It’s a family run hotel set in the mountains. I would recommend that all of my friends and family stay here when coming to Switzerland.

No microwave, maybe this is a cultural thing?

I couldn't be happier. This hotel has the most amazing view. The staff is incredible, and the location is perfect. I stayed there for four nights and I wish it was more.

We had an amazing view! And the breakfast was great. Also, there is a really nice living room area if you are staying in a group and need a common area. My two teenage sons played chess for a couple hours there.

Quiet, short easy walk from the station. Beautiful view, the dawn chorus (birds). Warm welcome from the owner.

I was happy with everything but for some the shower over the bath might be a problem.
