Villa Playa Tayrona, Los Naranjos

Petit établissement de cinq chambres, très calme. Un havre de quiétude à cinq minutes en bus de l’entrée du parc Tayrona. Le personnel est particulièrement accueillant, la table excellente et l’hôtel très bien décoré. La cuisine ouverte donne l’impression de séjourner chez un particulier. Chaises longues et hamacs offrent une belle vue sur la rivière

This property was so special! Its location nestled in nature, the warm kind staff who made us feel at home with their warm smiles and attentive care, the elevated yet understated architecture that blended seamlessly into the environment, the large clean and very peaceful room, the delicious food coffee and cocktails, and the perfect balance of seclusion/privacy with easy access to the beach and Parque Tayrona all added up to make this the perfect end to our Colombian vacation. I only wish we had more time at Villa Playa Tayrona. I hope to return very soon!

It was stunning! The rooms were gorgeous, so spacious and modern. The hotel was small and personal, it felt like we were at a homestay it was wonderful. The staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough to make us feel relaxed and at home. And the food was superb!

Room was a little dark.

Location was excellent- beautiful view, peaceful and relaxing vibe, lovely pool, very clean, communal area beautiful and they provide yoga mats. Felt very close to nature. Well maintained house and grounds.

Lots to say here in hope it is constructive and helpful to improve rather than a big criticism ( and what we would measure for an expensive luxury hotel). First of all please could there be more safety warnings about access to NARANJOS beach - my husband slipped on a rock getting down to the beach, winded himself and badly bruised his ribs (and most people would find this a very risky manoeuvre as the rocks are very hazardous). The staff were very kind, and agreed to a reduced rate to allow us to stay an extra night for him to recover, which was generous, but it would be helpful to provide steps to the water to help people get to the beach safely. Lots of signs warning about crocodiles but nothing to warn people about the danger of the sea and rocks. In general some staff excellent, others not so much - we felt a little like it was a bit of an effort for some staff and like we had to ask for a favour. Menu very limited but a good standard in general (depends who prepares it - the male chef was excellent but we ordered the same dish the following night and it was nowhere near so good). Room could do with more than one bin, vanity set (cotton wool, tissues, shower cap, complimentary mosquito spray), maybe a small fridge in the room. No power points near bed, only in bathroom?! Seems odd that there is air conditioning but no windows. We would expect these small extras for a luxury hotel. I hope this is helpful. Overall our stay was very good and we would recommend.
