Villa Playa Tayrona, Los Naranjos

The location of Villa Playa Tayrona is unbeatable and the view over the rio piedra flowing into the ocean is amazing. The food is great and the staff is smiling and attentive to your needs, whether it is for transportation requests or info on daily excursions, Johana has been very helpful. Also Emanuel on the sister lodge Casabambu has been very nice allowing us to use the Playa Tayrona facilities while at Casa Bambu in the last two days. The atmosphere of the lodge is laid back in beautiful surroundings. The location is strategic being 5 minutes by car from the entrance of the Tayrona Park.

Nothing i didn't like but I would personally vouch for a small gym. Maybe something to consider for the future...

I loved the people that were taking care of us in the hotel. They were very kind and the food was amazing.

We had an amazing stay at Villa Playa, the bedroom is so spacious, clean and comfortable! All the communal areas (swimming pool, dining room, chill out area) were beautiful! The food is what stood out here, we had the best food we’ve had in the 3 weeks of travelling Colombia with so much variety and freshly cooked in an open kitchen - you feel like you have a private villa the whole time you are there! Make sure you go upstairs to the chill out area with hammocks and also walk to the beach bar 5 minutes down the road for sunset!

Nothing - we loved the honesty box for drinks as you could help yourself throughout the day and night however our only recommendation would be to have a few food snack options too!
