The decor - cosy and comfortable yet stylish.The extra special touches - shower products, decaf tea and coffee; branded bags for items and crockery. Air con unit but also blankets. The friendliness of the staff. The location.

The fires lit in the restaurant despite it being really warm outside! The noise of the traffic on a busy road but there were ear plugs. More noticeable as I had the windows open as the room was a bit warm. No gluten free bread for toast on either days of our stay for breakfast.

Everything was perfect, the room, the facilities, the food, the service. Will definitely be back.

Breakfast was excellent, however on day 1 ordered a full english - received a half sized full english (it was generous and not a problem) did not realise this was the case until day 2 when repeated the request and got the full version which was massive!!and friend The pub/dining area was beautifully presented, cosy, warm and welcoming. Staff were brilliant. Food was super.

We loved our room, I was staying with my adult daughter. It had a lovely vibe and was very comfortable it was a tad small and no real storage space for clothes other than a cloaks peg. It could have done with a dressing table set up for a few overnight things and cosmetics etc.
