Beautiful Pub, real fires, good restaurant and breakfast. The room was lovely with tea and coffee plus milk. Staff were all very helpful about the area and places to visit.

It is by a main road but they did provide ear plugs if you need them. Mostly in the morning. But we slept until 9am.

Very convenient location for Enford Village Hall, to which we were going the following day. Staff looked very young, but then everyone looks young to us now! Nice evening meal, if a little noisy

The staff were very friendly, everyone smiled. The atmosphere in the pub was lively. The food was very tasty, both the evening meals and breakfasts. The of the quality of facilities in the room like coffee and fresh milk etc were very good.

There was a lot of banging of doors and the noise from the bar traveled, so don't expect an early night. It all quietened down once the pub closed. The cafetiere in the room was broken and the extractor fan in the bathroom didn't work.

Very Friendly accommodating Staff, Open Fires with Amazing Food. If Carlsberg wanted to open an Inn, the Dog & Gun would be its Blueprint!
