Posizione comodissima per visitare Stonehenge (10 Min di distanza). Struttura molto bella, lo staff è molto accogliente e disponibile. Colazione ottima con parte a buffet e parte preparata al momento. Abbiamo usufruito anche del ristorante per la cena e siamo rimasti soddisfatti!

"Welcome Port in the Storm."

Such a super welcome. We were so glad to find The Dog & Gun Inn. It was a welcome port in the storm. The roads had been horrendous. We were given homemade cookies as a welcome, & a full flask of fresh milk for our room, with instruction of if we needed more to just come down to the bar.

There was nothing about this wonderful Inn to complain about.

The excellent chef’s fare. I asked the Chef for 1 scrambled egg at breakfast and got THREE. The elasticity of his croissants have to be seen to be believed. However my husband found the Lancashire hotpot portion at dinner a bit small.

No bin in the bedroom by the kitchenette.

we made a late booking and was very very happy with the whole accommodation. When we arrived, we were greeted by very friendly staff, very comfortable bed and a beautiful breakfast, all in all a very pleasant stay.

"Super hébergement proximité Stonehenge, cosy et accueillant"

Accueil exceptionnel, petites attentions appréciées. Personnel vraiment très gentil. Nous avons bien mangé au restaurant autant le soir que le matin. Proximité Stonehenge.

Pas de menu enfant au restaurant. Mais solutions proposées par le personnel très arrangeant et sympa.

"Good overall, with some frustration with parking"

Really nice room, and even though an old building plenty of additional heating. Staff friendly, and both dinner and breakfast are very good.

Carparking, no spaces available and no other options. After a 4.5hr drive the last thing you want is to wait outside another 30mins to be able to get a space. Most other places put a cone in a space to save it for hotel guests. Saying there is a table to 11 in makes no difference to a guest staying 1) tell the people booking a table they are limited to 4 cars or something 2) you make more margin on guests staying over than dinner guests. I would suggest to prioritise appropriately.
